What is The Wolf Pack Foundation?
The West Hills Elementary School Wolf Pack Foundation is a 501(C)(3) Tax-Exempt Organization. It was established to raise funds to purchase educational programs and technologies that provide instructional value to our students, and to provide capital improvements to the West Hills Elementary school campus that would not otherwise be available through traditional funding from the Knox County School system.
Why Do We Have A Foundation And A PTA?
The Foundation was established in 2019 to work alongside the PTA in improving West Hills Elementary School. The PTA provides volunteers and programs, but National PTA guidelines limit how the PTA can spend funds. A strong foundation gives WHES the ability to to secure funding for the future of the school.
How Does The Foundation Receive Funding?
Making a donation to the general fund, educational fund, or infrastructure fund is the most direct way to support the Foundation’s mission. We also ask that WHES families check with their employers about company matching.
How Can I Get Involved?
